Neighbors Helping Neighbors. It is estimated that almost 900,000 of our NJ neighbors rely on food banks. Most of these pantry shelves are stocked with processed packaged items, which are loaded with trans-fat and sodium. Our students and faculty will be celebrating “National Eating Healthy Day” on Wednesday, November 7th .Please join us by donating healthier foods to your local food pantries. Some healthier donations would be whole wheat grains, low/no sodium canned goods and fruit packaged in fruit juice.    Check out the American Heart Association’s web site “Stocking a Healthy Pantry”that provides additional suggestions for donations. Thank you in advance for your support! Eat smart. Add color. Move more. Be well.

Attention CCS Families - By now, you probably realized that our HSA (and eventually the School Office) has been sending out emails through MailChimp. The decision to start using MailChimp is to be able to better notify our CCS Families and Friends about upcoming events and updates across a clean and secure media platform. We encourage you read all the emails delivered and update your calendars with the important information shared with you. Also - please check your spam folder if you haven’t received an email from HSA in the last week.
