There are three parts to the project.
1) A written report no shorter than 500 words. Which should come out to 2 and a half pages double spaced.(Informative writting rubric attached).
2) Mini project: Build a small demonstration on something your scienctist had worked on, feel free to get creative! Mini project will be put on display at the upcoming art show in May.
3) A small poster to be put on display with project and paper for the upcoming art show  coming up in May.

Like shark tank, students will utilize their lab time to work on their projects.
Students will be required to enter a one paragraph status update report on google classroom due on their respective lab days. This is to keep track of their findings.

Due date is April 30th, 2019

Dear Parents and Students,

All Shark Tank projects are due Tuesday January 22nd.

Student will be required to make a poster that will be due on Friday January 25th.

The Poster should demonstrate your scientific findings and skills you used to develop your project. I recommend utilizing your status update reports on the poster. This will give the parents an opportunity to see the progress of your wonderful projects.

On Sunday January 27th during open house, Student's Shark Tank Projects will be on display in the music room located on the second floor of the main building of Corpus Christi.

On Monday January 28th @ 1pm in the gym, Students will be presenting their Shark Tank projects to the rest of school. Classes participating are 5th,6th,7th,and 8th grades. Parents are more than welcome to join us for the presentations!

I would like to take a moment to aknowledge all the hard work the students have been putting into these projects and I have to say I am very proud of each and every one of you.

Thank you,
Mr. Lazzara
